Life is too short to just put up with feeling miserable. 

In eight weeks you’ll transform how you experience your job and your life. You’ll be happier, more engaged and highly energized. 

The reason it’s impossible to just snap your fingers and decide to love your work and be happy with life is that our brains aren’t wired that way.

Your brain is wired to focus on what’s bad, negative or threatening, and it’s at least twice as likely to stay that way than focus on all the good things around you. It’s called a negativity bias.
 
So, to start living your dream life and loving what you do, you need to rewire your programming.

You have to stop focusing on everything that’s wrong before you can get clear on what’s right for you.
 
It’s not a matter of working harder and hoping the problem(s) will go away, or trying to think positive and expect that will work. 

And most likely, this isn’t something you can do alone.

 

THE WORK HAPPINESS METHOD
follows my unique 5D Process (outlined below), in which I take you step by step, helping you locate the root of your issues and then rewire the way you approach work, success and happiness. By the end, you will literally see things differently.

You won’t have to quit your job, get a new boss or receive your bonus for things to change.

A FOUNDATION IN THE SCIENCE OF HAPPINESS

This first week we learn about the drivers of happiness and well-being at work and determine where you need to focus. 

This week you will:

  • Take our Happiness-at-Work Assessment, so we can track your progress throughout the program
  • Figure out what to do with your mental chatter so it doesn’t disrupt your focus and life
  • Understand how much happiness is within your control (it’s not 100%) and how much is based on circumstances so you can feel less helpless and more powerful
  • Learn the science behind how emotions impact your performance, creativity and relationships—and how to instantly shift bad moods
  • Master strategies to turn an awkward, jaded, negative crowd into a warm, accepting and open group 
  • Find a way to actually enjoy the company of those you can’t really stand right now

DREAM

ENVISION YOUR IDEAL WORK LIFE SO YOU’RE CONSCIOUSLY MOVING TOWARDS WHAT YOU REALLY WANT
We often can dream big for everyone else but ourselves. When was the last time you dreamed big? 

This week you will:

  • Learn the 4 principles of loving your work and determine where you need to focus
  • Stretch your definition of what’s possible for you so you have no regrets
  • Learn the most powerful tool to help you achieve anything you desire
  • Differentiate between what you really want for yourself versus what you’ve been told to want so you can feel truly fulfilled
  • Remember what it feels like to be energized, excited and inspired about your day

DISCOVER
CLARIFY YOUR CORE VALUES AND STRENGTHS SO YOU CAN MAKE DECISIONS WITH CONFIDENCE
Have you ever achieved something that you worked so hard for only to realize it’s not as fulfilling as you expected? Often we subconsciously assume goals and a definition of success that’s not really our own. 

This week you will:

  • Get clear on your inner truth and discover what’s most important to you in a work experience using my 4 Step Clarity Plan
  • Use my 5 Part Success Strategy to evaluate what it means for you to love your work
  • Learn how to block out the noise of what others think so you can hear yourself
  • Identify opportunities that can instantly change your experience so you can start to take action
  • Develop an accountability system so you can track your progress and not forget what’s important when things get busy or life gets in the way

DETOX
IDENTIFY AND RELEASE WHAT’S NOT SUPPORTING YOUR SUCCESS
Before you launch a new project, take on new habits or create a whole new work experience, you want to examine and release what’s no longer serving you—otherwise, those old patterns will just emerge and muck up what you’re building. 

This week you will:

  • Clarify what heavy burdens, limiting beliefs, undermining behaviors and toxic relationships are holding you back
  • Release what’s draining your energy and create instant relief
  • Practice a word-for-word script to help you avoid toxic people or experiences
  • Experience a greater sense of control, space and freedom—and feel your sense of hope expand as you make small and big changes

DEDICATED COACHING

Each week is live and there is time for some Q&A, but this week we have a dedicated session to work on any specifics you need help with.

DIGNIFY
DEVELOP A SELF-CARE PLAN HONORING YOUR MIND, BODY AND SOUL
Chances are that you could use some TLC. You may be putting your needs behind those of your boss, your customers, your family, friends, even your pet! This week we focus on what you need to do (or not do) to energize and restore. 

You will: 

  • Learn to stand in your power and ask for what you want from colleagues, friends, family and mentors with word-for-word scripts and strategies
  • Create a Boundaries Blueprint, which eliminates the feelings of guilt and shame that come from giving more than you receive
  • Understand what is shame, embarrassment and vulnerability and how to navigate them
  • Accept the parts of yourself that you don’t like so you don’t get stuck in self criticism and judgement
  • Identify strategies for rejuvenation and well-being that don’t break the bank or require tons of time

DO
CREATE AN ACTION PLAN TO ACHIEVE YOUR VISION
At this point, what you need to do will be clear and evident. You’ve already been in action and now you’ll be committing to the changes you want to see happen by the end of 2015. 

In this class we’ll review:

  • The simplest and most effective tool to help you prioritize what to do now  
  • How to test your goals to know whether they’re what you truly want and to ensure that you will actually achieve them
  • How to track your progress and stay accountable to yourself 
  • Different types of motivation and how to make sure you’re setting yourself up for success
  • Why muscling your way to your goals is not the answer 
  • Resilience skills to stay on track even when life gets in the way

A COMPLETE SET OF WEBINAR RECORDINGS
All the training sessions are live with me. So you’ll receive recordings in case you want to reference what was said or hear something again. If you can’t make it to one class, you’ll have everything you need in the recording. This is especially valuable for when you want to replay how to deal with difficult situations, for example, or what to say to yourself to shift your mood or to others to get your needs met. These recordings allow you to listen again and again, which is priceless– because each time you listen, you’ll pick up a new idea that will carry you forward.
